Day 12 - 18th Nov — Niagara Falls, NY
Supposed to be the most e cited and happiest day....in the end became a lonely day. Oh wells I still got to see the Niagara Falls just not the full view from Canada but the side view from New York. I guess both have their own beauty:) Spent the hole day in New York alone after we got to this border where they all went over to Canada Toronto and I had to stay here since 11.45 till 4. This place is called the Niagara Falls state park.. First I watched a movie about the legends of adventure in Niagara Falls. It's basically about how people starting 12000 years ago tried to challenge themselves by 1. Walking on a rope crossing the falls....2. Roll herself inside a wooden container with her cat and fall off the falls and survived...3. This real legend about this 7 year old boy who survived merely with a life vest when the accident of him and his family happened coz the boat went out of order nd they followed the current and arrived at the Niagara Falls...obviously the boy fell off with the falls...but he survived... After watching the movie alone....(1st time)...went to the observation deck and took some pictures...felt very lonely....it's really my first time ever traveling on my own out of HK...it really is a different feeling but I will never wanna do this anymore :( I mean I like the freedom...I got to walk anywhere I want at my own pace...but the whole walk...I felt very very empty...:( I walked alone for almost 3 hours without stop...oh and I am so lonely I had to play with squirrels with my ritz cheesy bites....but they are seriously adorable! Especially when they eat and when they know you have food they come closer to you step by step and they started standing up showing their tummy and their front arms are up like they're asking for food. Sooooo cute! And when they eat they do the same except their hands are not up to ask for food but to hold on to the biscuits! I took many many pictures hehehe I didn't know squirrels are this cute! First to the observatory deck then walked around to look for souvenirs...went to at least 3 souvenirs shops..yet I still got too much time left...and while looking at those postcards I saw this different view of the falls which I haven't seen so I asked the shop owner how I can get there...and she was very kind told me very clearly the route and also how I can walk to this other falls called the horseshoe falls so I walked and walked....to the other locations. And I am glad I did! Coz I saw RAINBOW with the Niagara Falls on the other side! Hehehe wooni happy because I never remember seeing rainbow in real life! I might have when I was young but I have no memory of that at all. And rainbow with the falls is a very famous scene! It's what thy show on the postcards too! ^^ while I was trying to take picture with the falls and rainbow and myself with my phone..people came to me and asked if I needed help...at that time I felt very sad T.T where are all the people when I need them! Especially YOU...=[[[[[[[[ I'm at Hard Rock Cafe now waiting for them to come back....I hope you are missing me because I am dying to see you now :( it's been too long I haven't talked to you on the phone and I really wanna see your face...but I know you're still enjoying your freedom and you wish I would come back later... I guess that's the end for today coz once I meet them up we will walk around this place again then we will be heading back to New York...we need to take the plane to go back to manhattan.. Iloveyou & imissyou...3 more days to go!
