a big chair and an ugly stick — Springdale, Canada
Before we got to our next stop we hike up to Rattling Brook Falls and then enjoyed a lovely lunch in Kings Point.
Springdale was a quiet place but doing okay as there was lots of new construction and big homes. We stayed at the Indian Brook B and B and our host Doreen even entertained us after breakfast with Newfoundland folk songs and yarns. She even grabbed the ugly stick for a few tunes. There is also a big chair in Springdale and I have no idea why.
After we left Springdale we made a stop in Glovers Harbour to see none other than the Giant Squid!!
And we also saw moose! And a giant lobster!!
